Has Mediterraneo House obtained the C.I.R. and the C.I.N.?
The attribution of the Regional and national Identification Code involves the registration of each accommodation in a specific database which guarantees official statistics compliant with the tourism requirements imposed by ISTAT and EUROSTAT. Will I have to pay a tourist tax?
From 01 September 2023, the Municipality of Palermo has established the tourist tax approved by Municipal Council with the resolution n. 93 – 17/06/2023. The tax applies to the overnight stays of non-residents in the City of Palermo, for a maximum of 4 consecutive nights.
The tax rate for this accommodation is Euro 4,00 per person per night.
There are the following exemptions:
• children up to the age of twelve;
• people who live in Palermo (residents);
• bus drivers, guides, translators and tour leaders, in the exercise of their functions, who provide assistance to groups organized by travel agencies;
• sick and helpers of inpatients at healthcare facilities, for a maximum of two cares per patient;
• school groups and off site university students who benefit from the housing service at one of the university residences of the Regional Agency for the Right to University Study of Sicily;
• volunteers and those who stay in an accommodation as a result of measures taken by public authorities to cope with social situations, as well as emergency resulting from catastrophic events or extraordinary nature;
• journalists and travel agents participating in Press Trip and Educational Tours, organized or hosted by Tour operators, carriers, and / or the Municipal Administration.

Does Mediterraneo House have parking for the car?
Parking on the public road in Via Di Martino and in the nearby streets is free!
If you find the place you can park without restrictions and for free.
On Via Serradifalco it is possible to park only on the RIGHT side of the carriageway.
DO NOT park on the left hand side even if you find other cars that do.
This is a public road so the parking is NOT guarded.

What are the check-in and check-out times?
Check in is from 2.00pm Check out must be done by 10.00am
What floor is the apartment on? There is the elevator?
Mediterraneo House is located on the ground floor, it is an independent apartment accessible from the sidewalk.
How big is the “mini pool”?
The mini pool has dimensions of 250 x 150 cm and 1 meter deep. It has rounded edges and inside it has two comfortable benches.
Is it possible to smoke?
Mediterraneo House has a pleasant and equipped outdoor area where it is possible to smoke. Please do not smoke inside the house.
Can I have the rental contract?
